NEWS | FISHER’S GHOST ART AWARD FINALIST

CAMILLE SERISIER

We are proud to announce SGAR artist Camille Serisier has been selected as a finalist in the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award for 2015. For this award Camille will be exhibiting new illustrative works from her current series ‘Venus of Brisbane‘.  This multidisciplinary art prize is part of a local festival held at the Campbelltown Arts Centre in Sydney.

The Fisher’s Ghost Art Award and festival is an initiative of the Campbelltown city council.  The core focus of the award is to maximise opportunities and avenues for communities to engage with contemporary art. The acquisitive annual award boasts prizes exceeding $30 000 and accepts applicants from artists practicing within Australia.

This fantastic exposure for exhibiting finalists provides artists with the opportunity to also be selected for the James Gleeson Surrealism Award, the Macarthur Award, the Aboriginal Art Award and the Campbelltown Emerging Artist Award. The exhibition will continue from October 31 until December 12 this year.
