NEWS | NICOLA MOSS AND SVENJA KRATZ FEATURED IN GROUP EXHIBITION DISASSEMBLE/REASSEMBLE
SGAR Artists Svenja Kratz and Nicola Moss are featured in the group exhibition Disassemble/Reassemble currently on display at the Caboolture Regional Art Gallery.
The exhibition highlights the relationship between humans and nature, in particular the impact that human life has on the environment. The works explore natural and human degradation and rejuvenation in an ongoing dialogue between nature and those who inhabit it.
Svenja Kratz’s work navigates the complex relationships between humans and other organisms, engaging with the human endeavour to understand, manipulate and control the world around us, particularly through scientific research.
Nicola Moss’s work observes how people connect, shape and interact with the natural environment through development, conservation and culture. Moss aims to raise awareness of the natural environment by looking at issues of balance between human and environmental dependence and domination.
Svenja Kratz and Nicola Moss’ works are exhibited alongside artists Jane Burton, Peter Madden, Polixeni Papapetrou, Hobie Porter, Tony Rice, Kate Shaw and Katarina Vesterberg.
Disassemble/Reassemble will run from 27 June to the 2 August 2015. Please find more information on the Caboolture Regional Art Gallery website.
