Established by the Anglican Church Grammar School in 1987, the Churchie is a highly regarded prize that showcases the works of emerging artists nationwide.
Andrew’s artwork Information Transfer Process #2 was recently on display at SGAR as part of our group exhibition Superlinear. Blattner’s selected work Monobloc Sunset was exhibited at Zeppelin Projects in Melbourne.
The Churchie Art Prize, partnered with Griffith University Art Gallery, provides the opportunity for the Brisbane community to view the work of Australian emerging artists in a local precinct.
The exhibition will be held at Griffith University Art Gallery from Friday 31 July until 29 August 2015. The official opening night and prize announcement will be held on Friday 31 July from 6-8 pm.
