NEWS | NICOLA MOSS AND CAMILLE SERISIER | BERMINGHAM PRIZE FINALISTS
SGAR artists NICOLA MOSS and CAMILLE SERISIER have been selected as finalists in the 2016 Bermingham Prize. To be exhibited at the Queensland College of Art’s (QCA) Webb Gallery, the national non-acquisative prize will feature the work of 22 artists working broadly in the area of landscape watercolour. 2017 will mark the first year for the triennial prize, named in honour of entrepreneur and patron of the arts, Elaine Bermingham. This year’s finalists were chosen by Practicing artists Dr Julie Fragar, Dr Chris Bennie and Michael Zavros and Griffith Artworks Director Angela Goddard. Bennie said the standard of entries this year was very high.
The Bermingham Prize exhibition will be held from Thursday 9 February 2016 – Saturday 25 February 2017 at QCA’s South Bank campus. The awards night will be Friday 10 February 2017 from 6pm – 8pm. For more information, visit the BERMINGHAM PRIZE’S WEBSITE.
