CAMILLE SERISIER | LADIES OF OZ
EXHIBITION DATES | September 10 – October 22
Serisier delves into the archives for her exhibition ‘Ladies of Oz’. Intersecting art and women’s history ‘Ladies of Oz’ uncovers the lives and stories of four Australian women from the 19th century: Nina Eva Vida Jones (1882 – 1966), Alice Nicklin (1870-1951), Leila Perry (1868 – 1920), and Catherine Helen Spence (1825 – 1910). With the accessibility of information at the heart of the project, photographed portraits feature biographies on each respective woman, while short films bring their stories to life.
